Costume | Evangelion | Asuka Maid

I'm back with a costume update ! It's from Evangelion , Asuka Langley Soryu in maid uniform ~ Been wanting to make this costume for quite some time already. Finally I got my lazy ass up and work on it for 3 days straight. Haven't been making costumes for awhile now ( as long as I took a break from cosplay ) , all I can say that I re-kindled my love for costume making again ! ♥

This version of Asuka is based on a PVC figurine. I find it quite cute compared to other costumes. They have another figurine for Rei too ! Gosh I hope that Mari have more costumes. * cough cough *

Back to the costume , I used Matte Satin for the entire costume. Matte Satin is still my fav fabric as it's kinda versatile and cheap too. The chest part wasn't very accurate because I was supposed to gather it for a better fit.

The maid headband. And lace from the neck piece is leftover from my Sheryl Nurse costume LOL.

The puffy sleeves too me the longest time to sew because there's many steps to it and the easiest part would be the skirt ! ♥

The back is kinda plain , just a normal bow. I think I would like to add more lace to bling it up.

My fav part of the costume would be the lace on the skirt as well as the apron ! * shy * I made the apron with love. * :p I adore laces with flower motifs , and these roses are just too lovely. ♥

Working on my Kuro Usagi ( Mondaiji ) costume next !

Hello guys !

Finally a cosplay from me after almost 7 months of break. * smiles * My last cosplay was Kyoko Sakura from Puella Magi Madoka Magica @ Animagaki 2012. Many friends were asking me " why am I not cosplaying anymore " , perhaps I shall blog about it in another blog post. But for now , I'm back ! Woots !

Truth is I have been keeping this costume since March 2012. Initially made it for Cosfest ( June 2012 ) but my college schedule was really packed and most of my girls couldn't make it as well. * sigh * Anyways , after sitting in my closet for almost a year , this costume finally get to go out and have fun ! LOL

Since it's my first photoshoot in months , I was kinda nervous and shy . #truestory. Plus , my feet were aching too because I haven't been wearing high heels for a long time. * laughs * Pretty happy with the photos outcome even though I'm lacking in many ways. Thanks to all the photographers for being patient with me ! * bows * hehe. ❤

Currently working on three costumes for April ~ can't wait for more photoshoot and events in Malaysia ! * works harder *

Korean BBQ @ Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant

Hello !

How's everybody holding up ~ it's March already ! Around this time last year , it was when I received an email from MMK , telling  me that I'm qualified for second round of audition . * happy times * Thinking bout it , I feel really blessed because of this chance , I got to meet a group of wonderful people. Thanks to MMK also , I got much closer to Angie and also Hermes who was our manager for AFA MY. They are my beautiful girls who I hang out with almost every weekend ! ( * v * )

Imagine I have so much stress from my studies and all I want to do on weekends is to meet my lovelies - watch a movie or have a nice dinner. I feel so relaxed being with them because we can laugh about almost everything. :-)

And so last week , we all had korean BBQ craving ! Initially we wanted to try Ippudo Ramen @ Pavilion but no luck because the queue was way too long argh. * pulls hair * Went there 3 times already and the queue was unbelievable. Why ah ? We'll try again this weekend again LOL.

Anyways ! We went to Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant @ Sri Hartamas for dinner last Sunday.

What do I like about Daorae ?

I tried out a few Korean BBQ restaurants before and I still enjoy going back to Daorae. I guess it's the atmosphere ? When you enter the restaurant , they are so excited to welcome you ! The services are great and the price is pretty affordable too. Always a pleasant experience dining here ! ❤

Plus I LOVE their side dishes max. The Princess Hermes hor , keep ask me to request for the egg refill because she shy but she wanna eat more LOL.

To fire-up the BBQ , you need to order at least two kinds of meat. Or you can choose to have ala-carte. But personally I like the bbq very much , and it tastes even better when u have great company ! :-)

This one is super good ~!! I give it a two thumbs up ! Angie recommended us to try out this dish many times already and we finally ordered it. It's a Korean style Pork and Potatoes Stew ~ the portion is quite big so you can share with 4-5 people. Super yummy !! ( * v * )

Korean BBQ is definitely one of my fav food ! It's all vegetable and meat so I don't feel guilty after eating it LOL. #truestory. Don't even have carbs unless you order extra rice. ( minus the potato stew ) No wonder Koreans have slim body figures ! * envious *

Will be hanging out with my lovelies again tomorrow ! Looking forward as always ! ❤

Hello !

Been neglecting my blog for awhile now because again my assignments were pretty crazy. I think this semester wasn't so bad ( it's only two months ) but I had like two weeks off so I have lots of catching up to do. I work hard and I play hard too. Guess what's my current obsession ? ❤

My room's design . Sometimes when I look at other people's room , I was wondering why theirs look much more spacious than mine. I think I'm too greedy. I wanted a bakery/cafe inside my room so end up not much space left LOL.

Gachapon !

Okay this is fun and addictive but also burns a hole in your wallet. I started off gacha-ing most of my items but then I got frustrated that I keep getting the same items. ( I have like 3 of the red kitty wigs D; ) Some of the stuffs are really cute and rare. ❤

You can visit other people's rooms LOL. I love to visit my friend's and random people's room. Some people are just so creative in decorating their rooms ! Plus you can also eat , sleep and shower at random stranger's room. Scandalous right ! lololololol .

Overall , I really enjoy playing this game ! I mean it's just too adorable ! But I secretly hope that they will somehow have a trading system where you can exchange your inventory items with your friends - just like in Gaia Online. I have too many repeated items from gacha-ing ! Perhaps some way to earn more gems like a mini game or quests. I need more gems to make my avatar and house prettier ! ( * ____ * )

Hello guys ! ♥

It's the 4th of February already ! Can you believe it ? Christmas seems like yesterday lol. #holidaymood. This semester is so laid back that I don't really have mood to do my assignments at all. Guess what ? Will be back to my hometown tomorrow ~ 100% CNY mood now !! Can't wait to go back and get pampered by my parents ~ ahhhh home cooked food here I come !! /widegrin

Btw , how is your CNY shopping going on ? Mine is pretty much done minus the lingerie and shoes. I had new hairstyle , couple of new clothes/accessories and bags ! It's so difficult for me to shop for shoes ! =(  Most of the new clothes I bought were either black , white or denim lol ! I only have ONE red top , shall wear that for the first day of CNY ! #goodplan

Some of my favorite pieces !! Still madly in love with my studded camo jacket ~ Loving the baroque-inspired collar shirt , skeleton/flowers tank top and the denim shirt with pastel beads ! ( the pin on the shirt is a birthday gift from Angie two years ago * v * ) ♥

I'm very keen on layering nowadays , but it's not weather-friendly at all ! I really miss Hong Kong's cold weather but my college is just as cold so it's still ok hehe. =)

Skater skirts , Unicorn high-waisted pants and denim shorts with lace. I can't figure out how to match the unicorn shorts yet. Prints are confusing lol.

Next up ~ new bags , hats and collar ! I don't usually switch bags but I guess I need some more lady-like bags to match my new clothes. Can't match everything with my brown messenger bag lol. I haven't worn hats/caps for a long time too, but I'm up for a style change ! ( * _____ * ) Feeling pretty adventurous this year! ♥

My final CNY shopping haul ~ a cute wooden mini house for me to start saving money !! I've been spending way too much that I should start saving money plus control myself ! I wanna feel rich also sometimes. LOL. To a better and richer me !!! Wish me luck * and determination * HUAT AHHHH !! ( * v * )

Need to continue on my assignments before I call it a day ! Flight back to my hometown tomorrow ~ excited !! ♥ ♥ ♥
