ANIMAX Carnival Malaysia 2014

Hello Everyone !

ANIMAX Carnival Malaysia is my first event as a cosplay guest for this year ! Always a pleasure to be working with ANIMAX ~ my first experience was Hong Kong Halloween Treats back in 2011 and it was really fun to be able to visit Hong Kong during Halloween month !

This time I'm invited as one of the cosplay guest judges alongside Arisa Chow , Yuki Godbless and Jiaki Darkness from Thailand. I'm cosplaying as Uka-sama from Inari KonKon Koi Iroha with Arisa as my Inari ! It's my first time meeting Yuki and Jiaki , they are well known for their amazing costumes - plus they are really friendly ! (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

Arisa made Kon-chan to go with her Fushimi Inari cosplay too ! It is mad adorable !

This year's ANIMAX Carnival is bigger and better compared to the previous years !

It's held in MidValley Mega Mall Convention Centre , with lots of booths to keep their visitors entertained ! It was really packed and people starts queuing as early as 9 am ! Anime fans are super passionate people ~ ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ

You must watch it if you want to know why I love it so much !

It's such a heart-warming anime , with great emphasis on relationships and friendships. Definitely one of my fav anime this year !

They even built a Dedication Booth for visitors to make wishes for their loved ones !

Did you know that Inari KonKon Koi Iroha is based on a real shrine in Kyoto , Japan ?

The whole setting of the anime is in the town where the " Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine " is. It's a collaboration between Shrine and the Kyoto City government , fully supported the making of this anime !

How lovely if I can visit the shrine Japan one day and bring along my Uka ! It would be a dream come true ! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

It's always an honour to be invited as a guest cosplay judge ! I had a wonderful time watching the cosplay performances and everyone is so creative and came prepared. I really admire the amount of effort and craftsmanship they put into their costumes and props. Good job guys !

My Uka-sama costume roughly took one month to complete.

One of the costumes that I'm really happy with , besides my Queen Esther from Trinity Blood ! This costume has many layers - two layers of Gi , one hakama , an apron and a skirt with long train. The skirt is made detachable so it's easier for me to move around during breaks !

My favorite part of the costume is the skirt/train , with more than 70 ++ flowers , all handmade and hand-beaded with pearls and crystals ! It took me few days to make all the flowers but it's all worth it , I love how it looks as a whole ! (❁´‿`❁)*✲ﾟ*

One of my fav part of the anime is the OP and ED songs. The OP song is by May'N , my goddess ! The ED song is by Maaya Sakamoto , whose voice is equally awesome ~ (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Overall , it's another great and successful event by ANIMAX !

I loved the crowd very much , everyone is so passionate about anime and all the anime fans unite together in this lovely event ! Especially when everyone screams " ANIME DAISUKI ~~~ !!! " 

How much the Japanese anime/manga/cosplay culture have expanded throughout the years in Malaysia ~ I'm really happy that so many people are enjoying anime/manga/cosplay now ! Long live anime !! (❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

Cosplay | Kyoukai no Kanata with Hermes

Hello April !

Oh my , time really flies ~ a blink of an eye and it's April already ! Which marks the beginning of my final semester in college. Can't believe that it's my final year and final semester. Gosh , but there's long way to go . . . want to pursue my degree perhaps next year ? * smiles *

Today I want to dedicate this blog post to my dear princess , Miss Hermes. She's my bff ( safe to call her that since it's our 3rd year together lol ) and this is our first cosplay together ! I miss her like mad especially when she went to Japan for holiday recently. But she still spend time texting me at night which is so sweet. ;-; . Yes , you are very important lol happy now ?

Hermes used to cosplay a lot last time but now she's more to a fashion blogger so I'm really honoured when I managed to convince her to cosplay with me ! Kyoukai no Kanata is one of my fav anime last year ~ lot's of heart wrenching moments and I especially love the baka aniki x imouto moments ! I really like Mirai too , she's a special character I must say !

I'm really happy throughout the photoshoot even though Hermes keep telling me that her Mirai cosplay is not good but I think that she is very cute in my heart. May our friendship last for many more years to come , my Princess ! Thanks for always being there for me (❁´‿`❁)*✲ﾟ*

It's just a very simple and short photo session with Blur from Naneee? Photography , but he can make such pretty photos ~ always a fan of his photography ! Though we don't have a school to shoot in , I really like how the photos feel very autumn-ish due to the trees ! ( which I kept telling Blur , I want the trees lolololol )

Coffee Cottage Cat Cafe @ SS15

Hello everyone !

Do you know that there's a cat cafe in Kuala Lumpur ?

Cat Cafes are really popular in Taiwan , Japan and Korea ~ I like cats a lot and my house is a cat farm itself ( I have 6 cats ) but I do enjoy meeting other cats as well ! Always wanted to visit cat cafes but the nearest one to me is in Singapore.... 

So I was super excited when Angie told me that there's a cat cafe in KL @ SS15 !! 

Hermes , Angie and I finally have time to visit the cat cafe together last Friday ❤

The cat cafe is called Coffee Cottage @ SS15.

It's really easy to find this cafe because it's just behind the famous Burgertory and beside Expresso Lab ! 

Welcome to Coffee Cottage !

The interior is very warm and cosy.

Perfect place to hang out with your friends !

The cats are in another separate room , so even if you don't like cats , you can come for a cup of tea and have a piece of yummy cake !

Coffee Cottage serves mainly coffee , tea and desserts ~ It feels something like Starbucks but comes with lots of lovely cats ! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ

Here are the rules for the cat cafe !

I'm used to being surrounding by my cats at home , so when I visited here , I'm kinda sad that the cats are running away from me lol. Some really enjoy being touched but some just wanna take cat naps ~ so please treat them with love ! 

Be realllllllly gentle with the cats ok ?  ( ﾉ^ω^)ﾉﾟ

Sanitize your hands before you go inside the cat room , wouldn't wanna bring in bacteria to the fluffy kitties ! (❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

My no.1 fav cat in the cat cafe ! Look at him , so playful lol !!

Let me tell you a funny story , at first when I saw his back ( not his face ) I thought that he's a normal orange tabby. Little did I know that actually he is a .... Persian Cat . LOL . I never seen one in real life before , only in books and internet so I was kinda ... excited !

We ordered some cakes and drinks , you need to order at least a drink to be inside the cat room ! I had caramel cheesecake , it was yummy but I would recommend their tea more than the ice mocha I had. Hermes ordered the tea and it smelled like ... heaven lol. (っ˘ڡ˘ς)

Do you know that cats spend most of their time napping ? (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Hermes says that this is the most beautiful cat in the whole cafe.

Yes , I agree that the fur is very long/ silky but he is kinda ... unfriendly lol !!

I would highly recommend you to visit this cafe if you really like cats or you just wanna chill and have a cup of tea. I had lots of fun during my 2 hours here , you'll enjoy it more if you really like cats ! Was fangirling the cats all the way that I think Hermes and Angie is afraid of me lol.
